Mayor Warren and City Council to recognize Sponsors of the Fontana Days Celebration (City Clerk Lewis to present).
B.Miss Fontana Scholarship Pageant Contestants
Mayor Warren to introduce Fontana Days Pageant Director Amanda Cothran to introduce the 2013 Miss Fontana Scholarship Pageant Contestants.
C.Summit High School Varsity Cheer and Junior Varsity Cheer Teams Recognition
Mayor Warren and City Council to recognize Summit Varsity Cheer team on winning the 2013 USA Nationals Championship and Summit Junior Varsity Cheer team on making USA Nationals Finals (Mayor Warren to present).

CONSENT CALENDAR:
All matters listed under CONSENT CALENDAR will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. There will be no separate discussion on these items prior to the time Council votes on them, unless a member of the Council requests a specific item be removed from the Consent Calendar for discussion. Does any member of the public wish to address the City Council regarding any item on the Consent Calendar before the vote is taken?
A.Approval of Minutes
Approve the minutes of the April 23, 2013, Regular City Council Meeting.
B.Fiscal Year 2012/13 Third Quarter Budget Status Report
Approve the recommended Third Quarter Budget adjustments.  
C.Accept Grant from Kaiser Permanente
Accept award of a Grant from Kaiser Permanente Foundation Hospital in the amount of $25,000 to be used towards various Healthy Fontana programs in Fiscal Year 2013-2014.
D.Accept donation from A&A Auto Sales in the Amount of $2,000.00
Accept donation from A&A Auto Sales in the amount of $2,000 for use towards the monthly Fontana Car Show.
E.Accept Donation from the Boys and Girls Club of Fontana
Accept donation of two hundred and thirty-two (232) Auto Club Speedway tickets from the Boys and Girls Club of Fontana.  These tickets are valued at $6,960 ($30 face-value) and were to be designated and distributed to youth and families throughout community centers, sports programs and events.
F.Accept Donation from Farmer Boys
Accept donation from Farmer Boys of 200 Certificates of Achievement valued in the amount of $800 for use towards the 2013 Fontana Days Run.
G.Accept State of California Office of Traffic Safety 2013 STEP Grant
1.   Accept the Fiscal Year 12/13 State of California Office of Traffic Safety Grant Agreement “Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP)” number PT1365 in the amount of $80,000.

2.   Authorize the Chief of Police to sign the Standard Agreement contract to be entered into between the Office of Traffic Safety Grant and the Fontana Police Department for the total amount of $80,000.

3.    Approve the expenditure plan for the use of the funds.  
H.Final Acceptance for the Construction of the Martin Tudor Aquatic Center Renovation Project, SB-29-PW-12
Accept as complete the work performed by Hamel Contracting, Inc., for the construction of the Martin Tudor Aquatic Center Renovation Project; approve the final construction amount of $2,003,188.93; and authorize the Public Works Director to execute and file a Notice of Completion.
I.Award Bid and Contract for Portable Toilet Rentals SB-37-PW-13
Award bid and authorize the City Manager to enter into a two-year contract with 1st Jon Inc. for Portable Toilet Rentals, with three one-year extensions at the sole discretion of the City.
J.Traffic Signal and Safety Lighting Project for Merrill at Palmetto, San Bernardino at Palmetto and San Bernardino at Juniper
1.   Reject all bids received for the Traffic Signal and Safety Lighting Project for Merrill at Palmetto, San Bernardino at Palmetto and San Bernardino at Juniper received on November 8, 2012 (SB-06-DE-13).

2.   Award bid and authorize the City Manager to execute a construction contract with Siemens Industry, Inc.  for the Traffic Signal and Safety Lighting Project for Merrill at Palmetto, San Bernardino at Palmetto and San Bernardino at Juniper in the amount of $589,994.00 and authorize a 10% contingency in the amount of $58,999.40 (Bid No. SB-39-DE-13).

3.   Authorize the City Manager to execute any and all utility agreements, utility easements, and any related items on behalf of the City of Fontana for Traffic Signal and Safety Lighting Project for Merrill at Palmetto, San Bernardino at Palmetto and San Bernardino at Juniper.
K.Adopt a Resolution to Amend Resolution No. 2012-096 Updating the Measure I Capital Project Needs Analysis
Adopt Resolution No. 2013-____,   amending Resolution No. 2012-096 to update the Measure I Five Year Capital Project Needs Analysis (CPNA) for fiscal years 2013/2014 through 2017/2018. 
Approve Consent Calendar Items as recommended by staff.

Taylor Council Chambers located at 8353 Sierra Avenue, Fontana, California.
