Welcome to the meeting of the City of Fontana Planning Commission. A complete agenda packet is located in the binder on the table in the lobby of the Grover W. Taylor Council Chambers Fontana, CA 92335. To address the Planning Commission, please fill out a card located at the entrance to the left indicating your desire to speak on either a specific agenda item or under Public Communications and give it to the Planning Commission Secretary. 1. Adopt the Negative Declaration and direct staff to file a Notice of Determination; and,
2. Approve Conditional Use Permit No. 12-015 and Administrative Site Plan No. 09-001R1.

The project site is an irregularly-shaped property consisting of one parcel (APN: 0235-111-14) totaling approximately 0.8 adjusted gross acres, located on the northwest corner of Valley Boulevard and Elm Avenue and having a frontage of approximately 176 feet on Valley Boulevard and a frontage of approximately 208 feet on Elm Avenue. The site is further identified as 15480 Valley Boulevard.

REQUEST:
Conditional Use Permit (CUP) No. 12-015 is a request to establish a truck sales facility. Administrative Site Plan (ASP) No. 09-001R1 is a request to modify the site and building façade to accommodate the truck sales facility.

Based on the information in the Staff Analysis, staff recommends that the Planning Commission: 

1.  Determine that the project is statutorily and categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15274 (Family Day Care Homes), and Section 15301 (Existing Facilities) respectively, and direct staff to file a Notice of Exemption; and,    
 
2.  Approve Conditional Use Permit No. 13-010 subject to the attached Findings and Conditions of Approval.
