Welcome to the meeting of the City of Fontana Planning Commission. A complete agenda packet is located in the binder on the table in the lobby of the Grover W. Taylor Council Chambers Fontana, CA 92335. To address the Planning Commission, please fill out a card located at the entrance to the left indicating your desire to speak on either a specific agenda item or under Public Communications and give it to the Planning Commission Secretary. Your name will be called when it is your turn to speak. In compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act, the Grover W. Based on the information in this staff analysis and subject to the attached Findings and Conditions of Approval, staff recommends that the Planning Commission:
1. Determine that this project is Categorically Exempt pursuant to CEQA review per Section 15332 (In-Fill Development Projects) of the California Environmental Quality Act, and direct staff to file the Notice of Exemption;
2. Approve Conditional Use Permit No. 13-016; and,
3. Approve Administrative Site Plan No. 13-024.

REQUEST:
ASP No. 13-024 is for the architectural design of a 6,946 square foot building and site layout of an automobile repair facility. As required by the Zoning and Development Code (Chapter 30) the applicant has submitted Conditional Use Permit (CUP) No. 13-016 for the Planning Commission’s consideration to operate an automobile repair facility within the Light Industrial (M-1) zoning district.
LOCATION:
The project site is located on a rectangularly-shaped parcel of land consisting of approximately 0.7 acres, located approximately 217 feet west of Juniper Avenue (APN: 0251-181-03), with approximately 100 feet of frontage on the north side of Slover Avenue. The project site is also identified as 16682 Slover Avenue.

The property is further identified as 8315 Laurel Avenue.
